Hello everyone,
Welcome to my daily journal. Please note that the content shared here is for personal documentation purposes only. It doesn’t involve significant matters; it’s a simple daily reflection. Thanks for understanding!
Yesterday, Pouya and I had a three-hour online meeting about BluLexi. We discussed everything from the economic and business model to the future of the business and our weekly to-do list. We decided to build a Telegram robot to test the OpenAI model further and gather data. Additionally, it would generate a small amount of revenue, boosting our motivation. Revenue is also a good indicator of whether a business is working fine or not.
The task of building a Telegram robot was delegated to me. Although initially apprehensive, I created a new Python script and started coding. It sounded difficult at first, but I got the hang of it with a little help from an instructional video. The task, which seemed like it would take forever, only took a few hours. It still needs some modifications, but our very own Telegram bot is now available after a few hundred lines of Python code. It feels good.
One thing I’ve noticed recently is that many Python libraries change their method names with major updates. What is wrong with you guys? While I understand the need to differentiate less-used functions, changing everything is frustrating. I hope future versions of GPT address this issue with a more up-to-date knowledge base.
I’ve become a bit lazy with this journaling thing. I used to do it every morning, but it takes until the afternoon, which isn’t good. Starting tomorrow, I should do it every morning when my mind is fresh and ready. Morning journaling helps me plan my day more efficiently.
Something I’ve been thinking about since this morning is that when someone has ideas of starting their own startup and changing the world, they often think they can hire a bunch of people to do the job for them. In reality, it’s different. You need to do 100% of the job on your own for a long time until the product is economically viable. Only then should you seek venture capitalists or angel investors. Doing everything from coding to marketing to design to business management for a long time makes this a hard job, requiring dedication and hard work.
Anyhow, the new version of BluLexi wasn’t launched yesterday. As soon as this Telegram bot starts working, we will launch BluLexi 0.0.3. I’m excited because it’s time to introduce this product to other people. Deep down, I anticipate a good reception, but in reality, I know we won’t receive many positive feedback for now.
Let’s see what the future holds for us.
Love and peace.
